TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to makeup services provided by Laura Macintyre ‘Laura Elizabeth’ ABN 51 457 790 794 to you. Upon booking a makeup application with Laura Elizabeth Makeup Artist you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

MAKING A BOOKING

Booking a makeup application can be made up to 1 day before if places are still available. Booking is fully secure upon email confirmation of payment of a deposit via making the booking through the following link.

BRIDAL MAKEUP BOOKINGS

Unfortunately, Laura no longer takes on bridal parties. If you wish to receive a list of highly reccommended makeup artists from her, please contact her directly at businesslauraelizabeth@gmail.com

MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

All makeup appointments require partial deposit, with the remaining amount to be paid on the day. Cash or card excepted. All deposits are non-refundable and therefore will not be refunded in the case of a cancellation. Your deposit can be transferred to another booking for yourself, this must be used in the 3 months following. For full cancellation policy and COVID cancellation policy, See paragraph 5 under CANCELLATIONS.

Any groups of 3 or more are required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 50% to secure your booking travel fee inclusive. If this initial payment is not received within 7 days, your date and time will not be held for you. The deposit is subtracted from your total balance, and the remaining cost is to be paid in full via bank transfer or in cash on the day.

Please arrive to your appointment on time, with an entirely clean, makeup free.

MAKEUP LESSONS

The amount paid is, NON-REFUNDABLE and therefore will not be refunded in the case of a cancellation; no cancellations or changes can be made within the 3 days prior to your session. If in the chance you do need to reschedule or post phone, this must be done outside of the 3 days prior. If for any reason you need to cancel your makeup application, please notify us in accordance with the details listed above. At that time, we will reschedule your booking or offer you a credit note that must be used within 3 months from your original booking date.

We understand that circumstances change and cancellations are sometimes inevitable, however we are a small business and frequently turn away clients and other work due to unavailability.

If you cancel within 3 days leading up to your booking, or fail to show up on the day of your appointment, the amount paid will not be refunded and you may be required to pay the amount owing (if any) as a cancellation fee.

PAYMENT

Once your deposit has been received to the nominated account or paid via the booking system, you will receive a confirmation email (for single bookings), or an invoice will be sent to your email (for group bookings) The balance stated is to be finalised on the day of your makeup appointment. See the original invoice provided for payment due date. Payment types include, Card Machine (2.6% fee applies for all card transactions) and cash. If in the special case direct deposit payment method be chosen, you are required to email businesslauraelizabeth@gmail.com a payment receipt provided to you by your bank.

CANCELLATIONS

All deposits are non-refundable and therefore will not be refunded in the case of a cancellation; Outside of the 3 days leading up to your booking, your deposit can be transferred to another booking for yourself, this must be used in the 3 months following. Please contact Laura for the updated COVID cancellation policy. If for any reason you need to cancel your makeup application, please notify us in accordance with the details listed in the services above. At that time, we will reschedule your booking.

We understand that circumstances change and cancellations are sometimes inevitable, however we are a small business and frequently turn away clients and other work due to unavailability, I have introduced this term to avoid this from happening.

If the number of clients for a destination group booking decreases after deposit is made you will be required to pay 50% of each person cancelled, and travel fee remains the same.

If group bookings fall under the 3 person minimum after being booked but still require a mobile service, the cost of a third person will still be charged in full.

If you cancel without proper notice, or fail to show up on the day of your appointment, your deposit will not be refunded and you will be required to pay the remaining in full.

TRAVEL AND PARKING

A minimum travel fee of $50 is charged to all destination bookings and mobile services. Any area exceeding 20km of Sylvania, Sydney 2232 is an additional cost per kilometre, there and back. It is your responsibility to organise parking where parking is restricted and cover all costs, including accommodation where accommodation is necessary. Surcharges will vary depending on your booking. (NO TRAVEL BOOKINGS ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY)

In terms of bookings from my studio, there is plenty on free street parking available. Please allocate more time then normal for travel prior to your booking to ensure you are here on time.

OTHER FEES

Early start fee of $30 applies to every hour before 6AM.

Call out fees may apply. They are included in most travel fees depending on season.

Public Holiday bookings: 20% fee will be added to the cost of the booking on Public Holidays ‘Laura Elizabeth Makeup Artist’ is open for.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Laura Macintyre requires information on whether the client has allergies or sensitivities you may experience. In no event shall Laura Macintyre have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and eyes.

You may be required to provide information such as your full name, telephone number, home address and payment details. In the event you do not wish for this information to be collected, you are advised to email businesslauraelizabeth@gmail.com directly. Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may incur limitations on what services we can provide you. All information provided by you is confidential, it is solely used for the purpose it was collected.

All personal information is securely stored electronically, which only authorised personnel have access to.

PHOTOGRAPHS

Laura Macintyre reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our make-up applications, and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes - unless you've specifically mentioned otherwise of course!
